" At the age of 28, a doctor diagnosed
me with osteoarthritis in both of my knees. Exercising made my knees hurt and eventually walking was painful.
After a very active physical life, my activity was cut by 80%.
Over the next fifteen years, I did less and less. I was afraid
of the pain and afraid to move lest I make the condition worse.
After a mild back injury, a friend recommended I go see Dr.
Chaney. While there, I got my courage up to ask her if
she could help with my knee problem. What I heard was
a surprise. After describing the symptoms, she suggested
that I did not have arthritis. I couldn’t believe
my ears.
Well, the rest of the story is that Dr. Chaney
was correct. After x-rays to diagnose a mechanical problem
with my knees
and physical therapy, I can bike and hike. I am not afraid
to exercise anymore. I still have to be careful not to
over do it. It is wonderful to be active again. Thanks Dr.
Chaney."
